If ever you fool me with flatteries Into feeling satisfied with myself, Or tempt me with visions of luxuries, Well, that’s my last day on this earth, I bet you! Mephisto: Done! A bet! Faust: A bet— agreed! Mephisto and friends celebrate, and set up to begin again.Faust feels regret right away, lies down, and begins again…
Transition: Receptionary—Lights up, usher audience into main hall. Wood Room—Nick says “Can we get these people out of here please?” —Usher says “Alright folks, follow me please” and leads audience into receptionary. —Audience in main hall then enters Wood Room.
